I know, I know…I say it all the time….but I LOVE my job!!  A few nights ago I had the distinct pleasure of working with the stylists from The Marc Salon ON TOP OF THE GUITAR BUILDING!!  That’s right, we were on the rooftop at sunset.  I had been looking forward to this for weeks ever since the idea was brought up.  What a FUN group of people!  I also need to say an ENORMOUS and HUGE thanks to my good friend and sometimes assistant, Annie Parsons, who schlepped all the bulky and heavy equipment up the sort of scary flight of stairs to the roof, lent me her second opinion on the design of the shot, and shot these great pictures of me on the ladder on the roof.  Another big thanks to mother nature for providing a cool evening in August (!) with a slight breeze coming from the right direction!

So, my wonderful “giant baby sign girl”, also known as Hannah, also known as the raspberry blowing baby on the back of my brochure…is moving to Florida!  How could she?!  I suppose her parents’ employment is more important than my annual time spent with her.  I was so bummed she was going to be leaving I had to have one last session with her.  Her aunt won this fabulous polka dotted dress in an online give-away and her mom and I figured Sparky’s homemade icecream would be the best place to capture the moment.  I have been wanting to do something with Sparky’s ever since I moved into my new studio space so it just seemed perfect all around.  (Stay tuned for a special relationship I’m hoping to work out with Sparky’s….)

So long Hannah, Deborah and Danny!!! I hope our paths cross again!! It has been a GREAT pleasure to know you all!!

Okay, okay…my apologies to all my family and friends who are clamoring for more Delia.  I took these images a few weeks ago when she was 14 days old and have been very neglectful about getting them posted.  She is beautiful and sweet and I can’t wait to play with her again soon!
